Late afternoon 30/7, Cycle & Carriage Bintang Berhad (CCB) announced a Special Dividend RM 1.35 (Less Income Tax of 26%).

This is an very attractive dividend payout for a share which has market price of RM 2.30 on 30/7.

Without many knowing this announcement, CCB has climbed up silently to Limit Up price at 2.99.

DOW JONES (DJI) FORECAST

From Bollinger Upper Band Range, DJI dips into Bollinger Lower Band Range yesterday.

In addition, Stohastic makes a u-turn from top.

It shows DJI is getting weaker. Possibly of DJI correcting to touch Bollinger Lower Band, ie. 10,960 in near term.

CIHLDG-WA (2828WA)

It was RM 0.04 (4 cents), before it took off on 28/7/2008.

What makes CIHLDG-WA sky rocketed from 4 cents to 13 cents within 2 days ? At the moment this article is being written, CIHLDG-WA marked 13 cents highest.

A 225% capital gain, if you manage to buy it at 4 cents and sold it at 13 cents. Let look at the Profile of CIHLDG-WA :

In other words, if CIHLDG mother share goes above RM 1.08, the warrant is in the money.

This is the drive that pushes CIHLDG-WA today. Technically, CIHLDG-WA chart shows a bullish breakout.

But the problem being seen now is, there is a lack of buying interest of CIHLDG, the mother share in the afternoon session, where the buyer is RM 0.955 and seller is RM 1.00 (a price below RM 1.08).

Therefore, it will be a false bullish breakout, where CIHLDG-WA may not sustainable in such a scenario.

KUALA LUMPUR ON THE ROAD

A normal scene spotted in Kuala Lumpur, "Jump Queue" to another lane if one lane is slow moving during traffic jam.

The gentle drivers are giving signal, then only turn their sterling to change to next lane. Some drivers are just turning their sterling suddenly for another lane without any signal light on.

My bad experience happened few months back where a car following me bumped into my butt. The energetic guy with 20's driving a honda sporty car, followed me closely, bumper to bumper, to avoid the "Jump Queue" from next lane during traffic jam. He ended up bumping on my boot. Who's fault in this case ?

Refer to the downward sloping line at left, it denoted the downtrend of DJI. At the near bottom of left downward sloping line, DJI made a shot up to break up this line. Technically, it made a break up which is a turning from downtrend to uptrend in short term. The left box was the short term uptrend after the break up.

Refer to the downward sloping line at right, which is the current situation. DJI made a break up lately. It shows DJI may repeat the same as above. The box at right hand side, ie. the near future term, DJI is likely to go upward.

TM (4863) - START TO TAKE OFF

Malaysia Stock Market keeps correct for the last few months, hardly to find a counter which is heading upwards. Most of counters are heading downwards or sideway.

Here we found a counter which is heading upwards, ie. TM (4863).

DOW JONES - IS CORRECTION DONE ?

The concern of subprime fear on economy resulted  Dow Jones Index (DJI) loss 283 points loss for 24/7 market day, which was translated into a negative sentiment on economic outlook again.

But looking at DJI Chart, It had broken the downward trend line (sloping downward trendline) in past few days rally. It does normally denote the change of direction, which is from downward to upward in this particular case.

If this turning point is strong enough, DJI may repeat the pattern shown in the left box, which shows the next wave is higher than earlier wave pattern.

And the most important is, for every small wave correction, it took around 4 market days to complete. Using this to translate today correction, DJI may srping up again in somewhere around end of next week, ie. somewhere around thursday or friday.

Then the next wave will be higher than current wave.

If DJI is dropping below 11,000, the above theory is no longer applicable, which denotes a breakdown, a serious correction ahead.

APPLE INC.

Technically, APPLE Inc. is heading $150 (24/7 closed $ 159.03). It is likely to find support at $ 150, and then bounce up.

IOICORP (1961)

Technically, IOICORP (1961) finds a support at RM 5.25 level.

COMMODITY CRASH ?

Lately, commodities such as Cruel Oil, Cruel Palm Oil and some base metals have undergone some serious correction. Rice Futures do also ride the correction wave. The question is now whether it is due for commodities to crash.

Sky high inflation is happening worldwide. A series of inflation has resulted Stagflation, a period of slow economic growth and high unemployment (stagnation) while prices rise (inflation).

If economy is as simple as one to one relationship, then the crash of commodities' prices would be translated into the release of inflation suffer throughout worldwide.

Indeed, economy effect is complex. George Soros did say the crash of commodity bubble will slump the world economy a few months back.

From technical aspect, the major correction of commodities lately is still too early to confirm the crash of commodity bubble.
