Since Sunway Pyramid New Wing opened, i never have a chance to go for shopping at the new wing. Having been to Sunway Convention Centre last month, but i didn't have the time slot to shop around new wing.

THE ODD OF CAR ENGINEERING !
Automobile invention is great ! From public to private, we are depending on all kinds of vehicles to facilitate our daily needs.
Various people need various transport system. Trucks, Buses, Taxis, Private Cars are the most common vehicles on the road we are dealing with, in our daily life.
But do you notice all above mentioned vehicles have the same odd, ie. The wipers are swung from left to right (Malaysia has a right handed car driver system). While you are driving on the road in rainy days, you will notice the water spots are blocking your sight, where the water spots are drained from left to right movement of the left wiper.
At the point the left wiper swings from left to right end, we can see this. Water spots right in front of a driver sight.
Right after that, the right wiper has to wipe the 'shit' of left wiper.
Wondering why not car is engineered with opposite wiper position, ie. American car fitted with U.K. car wiper position, U.K. car fitted with American car wiper position.
A clear sight for car driver if fitted U.K. Car with American car wiper position and vice versa

TEBRAU - CORRECTION TARGET REACHED
20080730, our blog did briefly mention on correction target for TEBRAU, ie. RM 0.54. Today it made a close at RM 0.55. The lowest was RM 0.52.

In Malaysia, Toyota has launched Vios Model in Oct 2007. VIOS 1.5S, VIOS 1.5G and VIOS 1.5E are the 3 models first launched. Toyota has then made a second launch of VIOS 1.5J in July 2008. Few months after the first launch, there are so many Toyota Vios on the road throughout Malaysia. The stylish design, fuel savings and affordable price are the considering points for VIOS owners.
Supposedly, those who are owning VIOS should be enjoying the driving pleasures while the monthly repayments to financial are still running. But the grumbles and complaints from VIOS owners are heard recently. There are 3 cases i would like to share here. They bought their VIOS prior to the launch of VIOS 1.5J.
The Case 1, she likes the stylish design of Toyota Vios, finally bought a VIOS 1.5S in early 2008. The only reason she chose VIOS 1.5S, the interior color of "Dark Grey" which is almost the same as black. Why black ? She answered "I am willing to pay a few thousand extra to get a black interior as i have kids who are naughty enough to make interior and seats stained. VIOS 1.5G and VIOS 1.5E have beige color interior."
In July 2008, VIOS 1.5J was launched. Her colleague bought a VIOS 1.5J (AT), she felt surprise when noticing the interior of VIOS 1.5J (AT) is black. After knowing the price of J, she screamed "Oh my god! It costs me RM 15,000 for a black interior. Feelings black internally in VIOS 1.5J (AT) is like feelings black internally in VIOS 1.5S. I wouldn't choose VIOS 1.5S if VIOS 1.5J (AT) was available at the point i purchased."

Comparing to Honda City VTEC at RM 85,800.00, she finally took up Toyota VIOS 1.5S at RM 88,325.00 three months ago as she think the newly launched model can at least last for another few years before turning old model. In other words, she presumed the deprecation of her VIOS would be minimised. "I am not going to buy Toyota anymore, i would reckon Honda for my next upgrade to Honda Civic or Accord in futures" she mumbled.

Having visited to PIKOM PC FAIR 2008 yesterday, bought some laptop's gadgets for daily use.
Parked at KLCC, there were so many PC Fair visitors along the pedestrian from KLCC to KL Convention Centre. It proves that PIKOM has done a good job to promote computer literature for Malaysia community.
The one attracted my attention, WIMAX ! The next Internet Wireless Connection that we are waiting to hook up for a different cyber lifestyle.
Visited P1 booth, get some information about WIMAX. P1 offers Free Trial for now, registered on the spot and get your free WIMAX Modem (WIMAX Receiver) if you do fulfill the requirement (P1 girl told we need to stay at coverage area such as Subang Jaya SS14, SS17, Setapak....). Interesting...interesting...
Done my shopping at PC Fair, returned to KLCC to take my car. KLCC was jammed up with huge crowd. Like the previous PIKOM PC Fairs, most PC Fair visitors walked to KLCC for continuing their shopping.

PIKOM PC FAIR season again. From 1 Aug - 3rd Aug 2008 at KL Convention Centre.
Whenever there is a PIKOM PC FAIR, there is a big crowd. The crowd is big until you hardly walk thru for certain lanes.
Does it because most of shoppers tend to on hold their purchasing needs and come to PIKOM PC FAIR for bargain hunting.
Does it because guys tend to come for eye washing on those branded ambassadresses ?
No matter how, i would say PIKOM PC FAIR is one of the successful fairs in Kuala Lumpur.
Congrats PIKOM PC FAIR !!! You make it. My laptop was purchased in PIKOM PC FAIR too !!!

Still remembered, when i first travelled overseas, i decided not to bring along my mobile phone charger as i wouldn't know the suitability of electrical plug of my dream destination.
When reaching my destination, i found out i was damned stupid without bringing along the mobile charger. The electrical plug was the same as our country.
Ending up, i ran out of battery of my mobile phone after 2 days as my mobile was 5 years old. The battery life was not sustainable for even a week.
With the lesson, i surfed for worldwide electrical plugs' information and found this useful website which helps us to do some planning prior to boarding.
